Habits Of Miserable People
Someone shared these "14 Habits of Highly Miserable People" with me. If nothing else, this is a good reminder of behaviors to avoid. Somehow, we occassionally deceive ourselves with the thought that we *deserve* to be miserable or that, by acting in one of these ways, others will get what they deserve. The unfortunate reality is that we always suffer from our wrong behaviors and, if rehearsed, those behaviors become habits.
Garlic anyone?
OK, so I had an uncle who was on a garlic kick for a while. My wife's grandfather also had his own splurge in the garlic kick as well. Both humored me, though I did not discredit them. I'm not sure that I can eat garlic straight-away, but I must confess a weakening in my resistance to attempt increasing my consumption.
